Founded by Bashir Islam in 1982, Spice Merchant started with a single restaurant before growing into a group of three, with restaurants in Cookham, Beaconsfield and Henley-on-Thames.
More than four decades later, Cookham remains full of the character that helped make it special in the first place. The historic setting, intimate atmosphere and focus on memorable Indian food make it much more than simply another restaurant in the group.
